Welcome to Shamblehurst Primary School

Choosing your child's primary school is one of the first major decisions you will make for your child. These seven years are when children learn their values, find out what they are good at and begin the journey into becoming happy, confident and independent adults. These characteristics are the foundation at Shamblehurst, and were instrumental, together with our children's good progress and attainment, in enabling Ofsted to grade us a 'Good' school with many 'outstanding' features (June 2013).

We strongly value our partnership with parents and provide a variety of opportunities where parents can become involved with their child's school life.

Throughout our website we hope that our learning and ethos values are evident and that you gain a real 'feel' for our school. If you are new to the area and are looking for a new school for your child to attend, our children would welcome the opportunity to show you around - they are excellent ambassadors for our school!.

If you have children with us we hope that you find our website useful and that you are able to find all the information you need.
